A family of 9 living in the wilderness from 1988-1993. No power. No running water. No TV or phone. Old camcorder analog gear running off solar. A partial clip of one scene. 3500 feet in mountains of remote Washington State.

Much appreciated....we used real old gear..and had not electric or water..so we did it on 12 volts deep cycle gell cells and solar panels along with a Panasonic AG 1950 editing deck and an Amiga computer. Quite th etrick for being in the middle of nowhere:-)

Wow....I really wish we could have done this but I'm afraid we waited too late in our lives. You talked about the founders of Mother Earth News. I used to read it in the high school library back in the seventies. I also used to dream of doing all the stuff you see in the old Fox Fire books.
