Groundhogs (UK) Album:Blues Obituary 1969 Originally released in 1969, Blues Obituary is the second album by '60s British blues-rock legends The Groundhogs.
Never understood why they never caught on in the US. Big fan for years and after all this time and all the lineup changes, Tony still rocks...want to hear his newer stuff...since the stroke. Are there new lps out?
It matters not where you have or have not seen them... unless you are an old bastard like me, you have not seen this line-up which , as I am sure TS will agree, is the only real Groundhogs! Unless you want to incude John Lee Hooker,,, which is exactly the same line-up, plus, RIP, John.
I saw them at the mermaid on stratford road birmingham mid 80's the look on tonys faces as the indie crowd went crowd diving on this track was a picture!
Saw them at the Tropic, Ruislip on Saturday (5/02/11), Tony sung a couple of the easier numbers and played his balls off! It's unbelievable that the guy can play that well after suffering a stroke. The Hogs are just as powerful as they were 30 years ago.

Oh, God, I'm so sorry to hear that Tony had a stroke. But I'm happy to hear those hands could still make happy mayhem on the guitar.
