To clarify for some confused commenters below: This is my first visit back to my house after hurricane Katrina flooded it.

The only door to the room was blocked by my bookcase and chair, so I had to break the window to get into this room. My buddy Mike was filming; he came along to take pictures while I rummaged through the filth. As you can see, I am wearing heavy rubber gloves and boots, and a mask. Without the mask, my throat and sinuses would start to burn after about 30 minutes, probably due to the mold.

  • why the hell would you block the door off and break a window each time you wanna get in ? :S

  • @picklesrule69 - I wouldn't. It was more of a one-time thing.

  • the point of that was?

  • @Channnncey66 To get into the room.
