This is the complementary video to the "Melodic Analysis" video.
Each at a time two tones are measured against/with one another at each step in the sequence.
Starting with a monotone ascension of the scale, repeated ascensions through the entire scale occur along with a partnered tones repeated & paired with each note of the ascension of a linear scale. You can see the harmonic imbalances/balance between different tones quite clearly in the osc patterns.
The combined tones are represented seperate on the left and right side of the screens seperated (tones are 'in phase'.)
The centre oscilloscope is an XOR function between the two.
What the 'XOR' ("exclusive or") means, is that only the difference between the two channels is displayed... if they are the same, it's a straight line, otherwise it displays a solid sinusoid of the "imbalance" between the two.

*update* In retrospect, it would have made more sense to have each frequency seperate in each L-R channel to give a more detailed analysis.

  • What is your take on the relevance of having one particular sound in left the other on the right ear to gain desired effect? (Positioning headphone)

  • @OMMbyZ

not exactly sure what you mean

but i think you're getting at 'what's the purpose?' purely for the binaural rhythms (nothing specifically to do with the solfeggio.)

binaural beats are caused by 2 different pitches inter-acting with one another, such that a third tone arises that can be at a pitch which speakers can't produce. the 'effect' is created by the brain putting together 2 different (but almost the same) pitches. using headphones helps insure there's no other interference.

  • Question ---- should I be listening with headphones?

  • @Dragonfly7524 ideally, yes... to get full-proper effects from the binaural beats, headphones are best.

the singular tones of the solfeggio don't necessary need headphones.. but to hear the binaural rhythms between 2 notes or more, headphones would work best.

  • Thanks for this :)

It would be great to hear & see you do this with the 12 tones including 063 Hz , 1074 Hz & 1185 Hz..

  • Thanks for watching :)

Sorry for the delayed response, been especially busy lately working on an EP launch/release.

And I may just do the full 12 tones, just for you since you've been so kind to me ;) I'm hoping to have some time in the next few weeks.

    Cheers :)

  • Outstanding Much Appreciated!!

  • @TekkGnostic Are binaural beats what I hear when listening to ABBA recordings when Agnetha and Anni-Frid are singing together?

  • Was listening with headphones, and started feeling effects if different parts of my body!

i liked the feeling in my legs!

  • En testant les différentes fréquences dans l'eau, on obtient une image très nette des géométries conceptuelles de l'univers issus des résonnances structurelles atomiques.

  • ops, I was logged in as a different user on this browser. Sorry. The post below is me: ommbyz... it is getting late here....

  • I am listening to the TMI products and every recordings start with the instruction as to positioning the headphone so the voice is heard in the RIGHT ear so it can be ensured the binary sound that follows is most effective. Yet I heard from "Expert" in the driving seat of the same company telling me this instruction is now irrelevant. The inventor is dead, the man running the show maybe right maybe not. Hence my question to you: Is it important which sound comes from which direction?

  • I would also love and appreciate the 12 full tones. :o)

  • @iseein2D WHAT?!? 10 monster trucks? there's no way that can be right
