Thanks for the video on a 2x2 rib. I use my garter carriage for the 2x2 rib. However I was never clear on how to cast on for the 2xz2 rib using the ribber.

Diana, did you ever think about putting up a subscription site for MK?? There used to be a good one by Tricia Schaffer but she sold it 2-3 years ago. Most of the old members have not renewed their subscription bc of lack of new content. We have been praying that someone like you would come along. I don't think it would be any more work than the blog is. What do you think?? Thx Sheryl

Actually, I didn't really plan this. I started just wanting to create a resource for new knitters, and now I am following it where it takes me. It's tremendously fun.
My current project is a DVD of the sock videos which was filmed using a brand new hi def camera, which makes this more viable on the standard machine with the small needles, plus I've written a detailed pattern with tips and instructions to make 12 sizes of socks. I'll have to see how the sock package does.
