Although I am not a Bon Jovi fan (im 33 yo and i did love "slippery when wet") I also dig good, genuine music: Something that is missing from what we mostly experience these day.I am however, a hardcore Pats fan (not a bandwagon fan... i still remember them losing to the Bears in 1986). Thanks for the re:!

@DrTobagen Yup (It's Ma'am by the way :P) I also knew that. I've been an avid Bon Jovi fan for quite a while and , as may people have said before me, their music has helped me through some of the best and worst times in my life.

Not disputing anything you said sir, but it was also referring to the hardships faced by an NFL headcoach: from wikipedia "The title track, "Bounce", was dedicated to NFL Head Coach Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots and close friend of Bon Jovi. The song alludes to the various hardships Belichick experienced before finally winning a Super Bowl. Alternatively, many also felt the song spoke of the nation's rebound following September 11."

This song and the album Bounce was written in response to the 2001 attack on the United States. The albums' dedication gives a beautiful description of New York, and America's ability to Bounce back, time and time again. It puts a whole new meaning to the song.
