Also wasn't it God who told Samson not to cut his hair or he would lose all his power? Come on now...read your Bible...there are more examples if you want them...don't pick the parts out of the Bible that you want to support your claim...use the Bible as a whole...

Peterneuh...you sir...are an older brother, you are so concerned about legalistic guidelines you can't realize that God loves him for who he is. See the world sees Christians as "Fag haters", "Baby Killer Haters", not for the Love of God that we need to show others! we are called to Love God and Love Others. Don't you dare judge this individual you bigot. And if long hair is shameful, then i guess John the Baptist was shameful to living in the desert with a raggedy appearance right?

Shane Claiborne is a false apostel. Why? His hair and outfit speaks too, and is a sign of radical love to himself and to the vanity. Apart of that, this "prophetic-hair" will be imitated of many young people. Why Shane do imitate a catholic Jesus? The real Jesus had short hair (cf. Paul speaking of the same generation in I Cor. 11:14).

huh? Christ loves each and every one of us. Our hair, piercings, skin, tatoos, etc... are no obstacle to him.

If YOU love Christ, then YOU will OBEY HIM. When HE reveals His will on one single issue, how can you disobey Him and say: He loves us all ...??? Read Psalm 5:4-6. -

This is a book about how people should learn to follow you?

It doesn't strike me as the most humble of book concepts.
