@MadDawg60 God bless freedom of speech!

This is not an insult...in the foothills this is music!

Awesome video, but I do find it funny that all the muppets are lefties (including Kermit The Rainbow Connection Frog)

@Duderock14 OPinions are like body openings, every one has them! Stop acting like a body opening!

This is cool...they sing better than I do...but then, everyone sings better than I do..lol

I can't help cracking up everytime the face of Jim's puppet scrunches up to scowl, especialy at 0:15, lol

Oh man, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! Roger Miller is amazing. I actually did a video not too different this a couple years ago without ever seeing this. Haha... You could see why I love this so much I suppose.. :)

@bluegrassman776 If Jim Henson didn't love it, he wouldn't have included it on the show. There was no hatred or cruelty in the man's heart. He teased and joked because he loved making people smile and laugh, not because he wanted to hurt anyone.

I never saw the Muppet Bluegrass

@bluegrassman776 Considering not only did they do this, but had the man himself on an episode performing this and several other songs, I think you've got the wrong end of the stick. The Muppets were for a LOT of people their first exposure to a lot of different styles of music. This was an insult to nobody that isn't spoiling for an excuse to be insulted.
@bluegrassman776 Wait, how is this song insulting? How is it making fun of bluegrass? Are they sitting around drinking moonshine? No, they are on a lit stage, singing a well-written song about someone who doesn't want their love. ??? People are baffling o.O

Not only did they make fun of everything...they made everything fun. I love he spoofs. PIGS IN SPAAAAAACE! When we last left the crew of The Swine Trek...You would never see any of The Muppets "keeping up with the Jones'" ie iPods or New Street lingo. Telly Monster used to watch alot of Tellyvison his named was suppose to be Tele. I can't think of any other childens show that has lasted this long (over 40 years) and hasn't lost it's popularity. I still watch it with my daughter
