Fingerprint reader security device concept

This is a video of me using my Fingerprint Function Creator (Tutorial/demonstration: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66vESNgS3Qs ) to open up this security device I made out of a dead CD burner.

I made the device by taking out the lens and rotation motor inside the burner, then I snapped off the front-panel features and filled in the holes with epoxy. Then, I spray painted the whole thing white to give a clean look, and used side plate screws for computer cases as the device's "feet".

the most cd/dvd drives so support closing tray function also. i dont know how it is called. but there are ways to close them by software for sure. - oh.. just looked up man page of "eject". it supports closing trays by using "-t" . give it a try ?

i'm aware and i did actually do that for a short while. what i did was have the computer count down before it was going to automatically close the drive but the problem was espeak "the program that makes the computer talk" would keep crashing and i'd have to manually close it every time it counted down 1 number. if i had to do that during the video recording, i'd probably have to re-record about 20 times before getting it right
