Big K.R.I.T. gets booed while performing "Country Shit" @ Highline Ballroom, NYC

Methinks it's not the best idea to perform a song called "Country Shit" when you're dealing with a drunken NYC crowd who have been yelling "Yaowa!!!" the whole night. Props to K.R.I.T. for handling it well though, showed a lot of class. Joell Ortiz / Jay Electronica show at Highline Ballroom, NYC on Tuesday, 6/29/10.

He didnt get booed because he was southern. He was booed because he wasnt originally on the bill. Another rapper no showed the event and the crowd just wanted to see that rapper. It was wrong, but if I spend my hard earned money, I want to see what I payed for!

I don't know if you're speaking in general or speaking to me, but I didn't boo anybody...and this wasn't K.R.I.T.'s concert, he wasn't even on the bill...Nobody knew he was going to perform until he came onstage right before Joell Ortiz and did 2 songs...The co-headliners were Joell Ortiz & Jay Electronica and most of the audience were fans of them, not any of the other artists who came onstage...
