That's quite a difficult arrangement, with all the jazzy chords you throw into it. It sounds great! Gets a thumbs up from me. Nice work on the guitar, and also the vocal.

Love, love LOVED it! Great voice and arrangement. Thanks for the cheer up.

AMAZING. Youtube never ceases to surprise me! That is one of the most beautiful versions of one of my favorite songs that I've ever heard. I've been teaching it to my two year old son, and just wanted him to see some other people singing it. Little did I know I'd find this random person who sounds like Peggy Lee meets Antonio Carlos Jobim all by herself! Well done, random youtube woman... I'll be checking out the rest of your videos.
PEACE.

That was great. Love your voice, it's perfect for this style!

This is an excellent rendition!
I also first heard of the song in one of Tenshin Reb Anderson's talks.
Great job, 5 stars.
Nice! Love the jazz guitar influence.

I really liked your treatment of this song, but there is no Bb augmented on "sweet song." The melody is an F natural. I'm sure whatever source you learned it from had it incorrect as well, as this is a common mistake. There is a video on YouTube of Ethel Merman and Perry Como and another with Susan Hayward where they sing the correct melody. I don't mean to be critical, just wanted to point out this (common) error.

HI Thanks I had heard it the other way but was not sure which was right. Do you have the sheet music?
guitaress1 4 years ago
I might have the sheet music somewhere but it's pretty easy. The second four bars (which start with "There'll be no more sobbin'") are identical to the first four bars, except for the very last note which is D natural at the end of bar four and an F natural at the end of bar 8.

Thanks, Yes, it's better that way, I see. I'll have to redo it. I accidentally hit the open e string in the first line too and that's driving me nuts!
