probably one of the reasons I haven't seen a track from the mother series yet; the greatest 16/8 bit ones being tracks like Pollyanna (I prefer the mother 3 version), Porky Means Business, and Natural Killer Cyborg. Nothing in the series ever got to Europe, America got Mother 2 as Earthbound.

aw hell, OCR made a great remix out of this.

theres an utterly badass version of this on ocremix

PSP version is quite good. I own them all and GBA is by far the worst but it was the first and only way for people in the US to have easy and legal access to it. It's alright by itself but by comparatively it is quite rubbish.

Yeah, both the PSX and Super Famicom versions are much better than the poorly ported GBA version. That thing was rushed, or at least I think it was.

I personally prefer the PSX version, but the SNES version was good too. I honestly think that if all the other versions didn't exist, and the gba version was the first version of Tales of Phantasia (with Tales of Destiny on the psx being the first Tales game in that case) That gba one would be liked alot more...but why play that version when there's 3 much better versions?

I've got a really nice version of this.

The GBA version really sucked, I mean, they mistranslated "Ragnarok" as "Kangaroo"..
Talk about crap. The SNES version is the best
mostly because the music was good.
This is a great chiptune. Reminds me A LOT of the King of Dragons soundtrack - which was composed by a FEMALE! 16-bit metal written by a tiny Japanese lady? Awesome. I am, however, not only confused, but straight disturbed that Decisive Battle got no love here. Not a single track from the entire FF6 soundtrack. We're definitely entitled to our opinions, but this is a mighty strange top 50.

The main reason for that would be that I live in Europe, and the first Final Fantasy game that was released here was VII. I didn't play the classic games until much later, and admittedly never liked FF6 too much.
