MHP3 - Gunlance Auto-Guarding ~ ガンランス＋オートガード

A naked run with the Obelisk ancient gunlance and auto-guard versus a village quest Tigrex~ =]

Auto-guard looks like a must have skill for gunlance users! All I am wearing in this quest is the talisman you get early in the game that has a +10 to auto-guard ^^

Gunlance users can now activate auto-guard everytime they shoot (not a charged one) or while they are doing a 1 shot reload (not a full reload). Basically, to prevent an impact from a monster, simply shoot or tap the shoot button to do a 1-shot reload. This is simpler to do with infinite stamina, guard armor, or constitution skill since you will tend to use a lot of stamina blocking especially fighting monsters like this tiggy. This was allegedly a bug, but I heard that Capcom said that it is supposed to be like this. I'm loving the new gunlance~! :D

Thanks to MH3 on Wii, I've moved to being a lancer, even back in MHFU. The changes that are happening to the gunlances, however, mean I'm going to start practising now with it. The hunting horn changes are amazing too - I cannot wait for this game to make its European release :D

I don't get why people think it's cheating,isn't it like the LC countermove(or even weaker)? i mean,it even does smaller damage,it looses more sharpness and furthermore you need another ability to use it... while LC do the second strongest move with it consume same sharpness as every other lance move and can chain stabs after it... I love both Gunlances & Lances(Mostly GL XD , so much that i made (almost,still playing :P) every GL in Unite ^^) I'm not making a GL VS LC Mex, I Just don't get it

how'd you get the ancient gunlance? from mining rusted ores or upgrade from a lance?

Has the Tigrex's stagger rate always been that high? I'm tired of people saying it's best to back off when he's enraged, that's when he's most vulnerable IMO. I've noticed I knock him out more often when he's enraged as well, but that might be a coincidence.
