Just a short little film showing my twitch to see the Spanish Sparrow at Calshot in Hampshire on 10th January 2012. The bird was elusive for over 90 minutes before being seen at roughly 11:30am. The video contains a very poor record shot of the bird at the end, but the fun is in the chase (well it was for some!). Any comments most welcome, especially anyone who was there and wants to be identified!

Great video! Love the music choices too! It's quite refreshing to see something light-hearted from the birdwatching world; sometimes I join my brother when he goes out and about on the hunt to spot birds and sometimes when there's a small crowd I don't always feel that welcome. But this looks good fun =)
I've been lucky enough to see these Spanish Sparrows in Malta where they are absolutely everywhere. They particularly enjoy eating cake!
