This was the tenth song of their set at the Beachland Tavern in Cleveland, Ohio, where, supported by Cheyenne Mize on violin and vocals and Dan Dorff on drums, they appeared with Family of the Year on Thursday, March 11, 2010. Dear Companion is dedicated to stopping mountaintop removal, a particularly toxic form of coal mining practiced throughout Appalachia.
