Passing Stopped School Bus -- Forsyth County NC!

Driver on cell phone speeds past stopped school bus 9/18/08

[] unlawfully pass stopped school buses. Beginning tomorrow, Sept. 1, the penalty for passing a stopped school bus increases from a Class 2 misdemeanor to a Class I misdemeanor. In addition, violating this law and willfully striking a person causing serious bodily injury is now a Class I felony.

@Futuramapwnsall Doesn't matter how long (or short) of a time the bus has been stopped. The ambers were on, indicating the bus was coming to a stop to load or unload, same as the yellow light at an intersection. The reds were on when the vehicle passed. The driver was citable for running a red light.
