  • Thanks Cannons...This is very good advice, since there are so many trailered boats in Florida meaning they get their fuel from service stations selling only E-10 (soon to be E-15) ethanol.

I'd like to see a video "how to" on changing the YAMAHA "on motor" fuel filter. It looks simple, but it's not that easy. I'd like to find out some "tricks of the trade" for removing the cup and installing the new element. I've broken mine off and had to replace the complete assembly the two times I've tried

    Hey DC-

You are welcome and thanks for the feedback and suggestions for future videos!

    Take care and happy boating!

  • Thank you very much. My yard must have replaced the filter dry. When I filled it as you suggested, and primed, she started right up.

  • @pkalkstein-

  • @crestlinersuperhawk Thanks for you comment! We love that you took the time to say something and you have good eyes too.

Our point was to show people the technique or concept. We have many boats at the marina and just happened to use an old boat in for service!

    Happy Boating,
