Choose Scottish Freedom not British Imperialism. The legendary Dick Gaughan sings Erin Gu Brath in a short film which attempts to explain the difference between Scottish civic nationalism and imperialism.
This Dirge is enough to convince us to wave bye bye and allow them their so called freedom.
The union has stood the tests of time, the fools who want independense are either feathering their own nests or living in a time warp. The romantic past has no bearing on todays cut and thrust of world politics. It is in everbodys interest to pull together whilst enjoying our individual cultures.
Scots! Listen out for England's dirty tricks and threats in the lead up to this vote, they will try everything to maintain the union seeing as they are benefiting the most.Albann go deo!
I have yet to meet anyone in England who is not enthusiastic about this opportunity for England to have its independence from Scotland. Everyone is hoping that the Scots vote yes in the refendum, and if it was up to the English it would be a definite "yes".
when we went for Devolution we were told foreign investors would flee south to London, the outside world would not do business with us,and it would lead to mass unemployment,Wrong we have more investment, more tourists, less unemployment no one has cancelled their whiskey orders, more reasoned people would have a positive view of union rather dish up the on going negative attitude that is present now. no future in negativity British politicians should learn, as usual not listening.
@TheGunner1324 we are 8.8 % but you English pay 17.9% don`t you believe pal the English are not so generous the only people fooled is yourself, Gunner eh! well named you shoot from the hip?.
@TheGunner1324 learn from history buddy no country takes independence purely on economic grounds in this case it shows we are no different from the other of 54 nations who sought independence from England. You may have also noticed all the nations who have left the empire none have requested to rejoin it even the most backward Banana Republics.
@TheGunner1324 you find it funny? the Scots are saving you money and you deride them for it? its about time you idiots try a more intelligent approach and stop patronising.
if any of you are capable of producing a relatively reasonable argument for the union
put it forward this continual endless generosity of the English is wearing very thin you need a new "positive" reason for union this we can`t make it without England is utter bullsh*t.
And econemy commentators from around the world have worked out if scotland went independent it would have a budget deficit of 8.2 billion and even if england gave all the oil revenue to scotland it would still be 6 billion pounds in the red.
Including all North Sea oil revenues the last year of surplus was in 1988-89
and since then there has been 18 years of annual deficits with Scotland’s
spending being greater than the tax raised in Scotland.

I just hope that Scotland doesn't join the EU cuz the EU is retarded. A good example is ACTA.
