These plums look really ripe and sweet. My squirrels are so spoiled anyway...right now is a big harvest time for them with ripe beechnuts and hickory nuts to gather. They ignore what I give them sometimes. : )

well, a squirrel is a very tiny animal and i think, that´s why they get bothered by sour fruits very easy. i´ve seen just one on youtube eating a grape, which is very sour. yeah, the deer is a big guy and i´m sure he ate them, because he needed some quick energy!

Hi Nudelsalatbomber! I had some plums that just never ripened, so I put them out on the patio to see who would eat them. Two of my squirrels were playing with them, but didn't eat any. One of the deer ate them instead. Hyouta's look really good!
