  • I'd replace them every month anyhow. A filter is a lot cheaper than a service call to replace a limit, a blower motor, or a heat exchanger.

  • Great video...

  • Good video Tim. We don't have many Humidifiers here in the southern US. Keep up the good work. Matt

  • Very nice job on this video A+

  • as for cleaning the duct work once every 3 years with pets and if you dont have pets every 5 years shop around for the duck cleaning co ask if there machine has a rotating brush if they dont --dont use them

most people never clean their ductwork ever with a couple of inches of dust and Bactria .

you would crap your pants if you saw the ductwork i have seen as an hvac tec

  • your totally wrong about how often you should replace your filter.....

the pleated filter you show restricts the flow of air by 10% right from the start...

now put some dust on it and more air has been restricted....

change your filter once a month ! cheep or not cheep filters .

air flow from clogged filters reduces the efficiency of the furnace...

resulting in short cycling causing much more damage ...

im an hvac tec so if you want to see me more often just change the filter once a season

  • nice job

  • nice info...

i could only see air filter by the stairs at my house though.. maybe it's a different kind lol

    thx for sharing!;)
