@jmattbassplaya90 It's a great solo, but don't let that lead you to unrelated genre definitions! And: he's a bassist of "these days", no matter what tradition he taps into. There are still unbelievably many groovy bassists out there!

See to me, this is MUCH more impressive than any metal bass solo I`ve ever heard. It`s simple, but still pumps a great groove and feel... something many bassists these days lack sadly.
