  • Great find and good recording. Well done 73 M0LEX.

  • @millaurbana Hi thanks for the comment the video was recorded on an iphone 3gs

  • I wonder why NATO chose this frequency within the 30m amateur band for propaganda? I guess it must have been in use by the Libyan government forces. I haven't been on 30 for over a year, wish I'd taken a look from time to time. Ah well.

  • @G0IFI I also thorght the very same thing why thee 30m amateur band

may be it is used in Libya for general or militery use.

i have heard similar recordings But my one is by far one of the clearest

as soon as i heard it i knew it was unusual as 30m is mainly used for digital modes

    73s De: M6CTI

  • @nakedfaves I live in England Near London Heathrow Airport.

i have been into the Hobbie of communication for 33 years.

i have only held my amateur radio foundation for just over a year.

  • @1SoundBlaster,

I'm a little curious. What continent were you on when you recorded this transmission?

I used to have a DX-440 that I listened to religiously (following all the rules of weather based propagation {above 11 Mhz during the sunlit hours of the day, below 11 Mhz after the sun goes down}) here in NJ USA about 10-15 years ago, but I never heard anything like this. Were you in North or South America when you recorded this?

  • nice radio dude! i have the 857

  • Nice video! Pretty ool stuff and transmitter you have there!

  • @1SoundBlaster Does it have 11 Meter capability?

  • @BananaJSSI I gotta get you a Yaesu FT-847 so you can get some stuff like this for us! This stuff is wild, I had no idea you can grab this off the airwaves!
