I agree that Dandies are the best. Do you have a Dandie now? If so cherish him/her as they are getting more and more scarce - almost on the verge of extinction.

My parents adopted a dog from the Humane Society, only known as a "Terrier Mix." Thank goodness for YouTube and the Internet. I can safely say after seeing these vids of Dandies that Duke had to be more than half Dandie Dinmont. The body and movement are so similar. The bark too.
Sadly, we had to put him down last August. The vet said that Duke was well between 19-20 human years, which I've read is quite a lengthy time for any dog, not just a Dandie.

It's always sad to lose a dog - even more so when it is a Dandie Dinmont - they are just so special.
