  • since its so expensive does it have image stabilizer or auto focus?

  • @ThisLaoGuy This lens has no auto focus, auto aperture or image stabalisation... The increased cost is due to the lens letting in so much light and having such small depth of field, and binging of Glass and metal construction.

    Thanks for watching

  • @76rick This lens will fit directley to a panasonic AF101 and a GH2, in fact it will work with any camera that has the micro four third mount... it is available from stock. please the robertwhite co uk web site

  • @ThisLaoGuy 1) it was joke 2) with 0.95 lens Im not entirely sure its even possible to do AF, check how slow is 50mm f1.2 or 85mm f1.2 from Canon 3) wont help in movies, you need to MF anyway (unless you have SLT, but then you dont care about this lens).

  • @Mescalamba AF is for recording yourself moving back and forth without being out of focus or readjust.

  • @ThisLaoGuy If you use it with Olympus m4/3 then its stabilised. :) AF is for kids. :D

  • @periodictable2 You might get 150mm f2 from Olympus for 4/3 and use adapter to m4/3s. With GX1 it should be able to focus correctly (maybe bit slowly). Fastest "regular" lens are 200mm f1.8 Canon or 135mm f1.8 from Zeiss for Sony. Cheapest way would be some 135mm f2 lens, most manufacturers makes at least one.

  • Great Video Robert. Fitting its main capabilities into two minutes was well executed. BTW, your link in the description doesn't work.

  • that part at 1:27 was so cool with the song xDD haha anyway its a great lens :3

  • I am very interested in this particular lense for my new GF3x...

what suggestions may you have for a zoom with a large aperture?

I am hoping to get something above 150mm with a 1.7 (or faster if possible)

  • What's the name of the soundtrack? It sounds real nice.
