@xylsvoss 1. Kickboxing is basically Kyokushin with some Mauy Thai, with the two being founders. 2. True to a small degree, MT's high guard and static nature originally left it vulnerable to all sorts of takedowns and sweeps, as well as body kicks cause of its fear of elbows and knees to the head, but the advanced forms are only differ by using a regular guard such as in boxing, and by focusing more of stuffing and moving in a circle. 3. Yeah, BJJ is waterdown Judo-newaza,but Kenpo<Shoto&Kyok K.

1 Kyokushin fighters and 1 Judo fighter tore his ass up, the guy has like 1 victory, and its a BS submission. His record is a joke, and fuck kenpo karate, its watered down inferior self, and fuck you too Ed Parker :D

@xylsvoss that would be because kenpo is typical of crap that doesnt spar or wrestle full contact and spends their time doing useless forms,bjj ,thai ,mma,boxing ,wrestling are the opposite end of the spectrum .Thai in MMA cannot be regular thai becuase regular unmodified thai doesnt work when wrestling is added.7-8 years of constant, smart training get bjj black belts in bjj typically,thats not long.

Hey gp have ever noticed that everyone one who hates/disbelieves Kenpo always rants about BJJ and Muay Thai. Are they all experts in these martial arts. No! It takes many, many years to get a BJJ black belt, and the Muay Thai in UFC is not real Muay Thai. I have lived in Thailand, and most Americans who rant about Muay Thai are generally clueless.Peace a fellow Black Belt in Kenpo who lived in Asia 1991-2006

im just saying what most people think in the martial arts community...black belt magazine is a joke and is responsible for the mcdojo epidemic that affected martial arts....except martial arts that take there art serious like BJJ and Muay Thai. BJJ was never affected because its a serious art and it takes dedication NOT MONEY to earn a black belt...and muay thai doesnt have belts to begin with.... BTW bart vale has an official MMA record of 1-2, and all his other fights beside that were worked
