Thomas Kivi is an indie singer-songwriter from the Midwestern, United States. A native of Wisconsin, Kivi has made the Twin Cities and it's legendary indie music scene his home. Quickly attracting the attention of several local music critics, Kivi has been well received by press and fans alike and drawn comparisons to Townes Van Zandt, and fellow mid-westerners Bon Iver and Jeff Tweedy (which are incredibly humbling comparisons)."...his songs are a heartfelt melange of complicated images and emotions that seek to define the times, and succeed. With the release of "Crying Child" (February 1, 2011), Kivi's first full length album, there is a bright future ahead for the young artist.
