http://www.pointblankonline.net/mixing-dance-music-course---ableton.php In this video, Danny J Lewis (Defected, Enzyme Black) demonstrates how to use compression to give this synth sound a better presence in the mix and delicately balance the levels. Although the effects are very subtle, it is this attention to detail which can take a good sounding track to a great sounding track!

This is the third in the series of exclusive tutorials taken from the Mixing Dance Music in Ableton course (http://www.pointblankonline.net/mixing-dance-music-course---ableton.php)

  • Learning a lot from your videos. Straight to the point, using native plug-ins, quality sound. I would kill for a Point Blank school in Portugal.

Keep it up mates! Cheers :)

  • @Style07sk Thanks! If you can't make it to London you can study with us online.
