A video showing how I replaced a rusted Gas Neck in my 2000 Ford Explorer. I bought the filler neck from 1A Auto Supply. Fast two-day delivery and the best price I could find. They also have 'How to' auto repair videos on-site and YouTube.

Here are urls for 1A Auto:

and

the link to 1A Auto's YouTube video How To Install Replace Fuel Gas Tank Filler Neck Ford Explorer Mountaineer 97-03 1AAuto.com

  • Great video. Looks easy enough.

  • @THEHAITIAN1804 Thanks 1804, once the car is stable, on jacks, the hard part is getting the hose clamps off without damaging the rubber gas hose to the gas tank. But most of all, remember that you are working at the gas tank, be careful.

  • @gmvideos06 Oh ok I have to replace my grommet and fuel filler neck out my 1999 Ford Mustang GT. I am trying to do as much research as I can in. I figured I might as well start doing repairs myself, save money.

  • I am just curious, I ain't an expert but should you have sparks around the fuel area like that?... It seems a little bit unsafe in my opinion...but what do I know I'm just an aircraft mechanic
