  • Fucking sweet I'm buying one for only 5,500 this week!

  • That is the best of both worlds. The C3 Looks were the most beautiful IMO. I had a 1980 Vette and I loved the look but I could only make it so fast because Im in California.

To have performance to go with that look would be the ultimate.

  • @MetalHeadXi158 did you buy it ?

  • @boomer1991 they do look better than the new vettes.. The new vettes are nice but are too reminicent of a dodge viper

  • @ExplosiveThinMan Ditto. I'm thinking about getting a 1980 vette mostly for the looks ( I too thinkt hat the C3's were the best looking Corvettes) but I would need at least a 383 engine or one that is supercharged so I won't be embarrased on the road either..

  • I have an 1981 Vette that I inherited from my Dad. Can't wait to wake up that little SBC. It sure is fun to drive around though, and those C3 looks are timeless!! I even think they look better than the new vettes.

  • Love the older vettes... much sexier than the new ones.

  • Sweet car man! I have a 1980 with a 383 stroker. Just curious, what are you running slicks or DR's? With the amount of traction you got on that launch how is your rearend holding up? Are you still on the stock dana rear, or have you swapped to something else? The stock 1980-82 rear is a weak point, and is my major concern for when I start dragging mine. Im considering swapping to a pre '80 iron differential. Just curious what your setup is. Please let me know! Thanks

  • @vans1107

I learned that a few months ago :S, But there are rumors that a few LS7's put into 71's that were scheduled for 1972 according to my book. I guess I read it wrong..

  • @FANADICALCOWHEAD there was never a 72 LS7 corvette, or a LS7 anything for that matter, it was nothing but a crate engine that GM offered, the L88/ZL1s were the most powerful engines to ever be available in a corvette..up until the new Z06 and ZR1 came out of course.

  • that was weak bro

  • sweet.whats in the engine?a shooten-kabooten?
