What a series that was. As a Leaf fan for 40 y, I have never been more nervous watching Leaf playoff games than that series. Games 6 and 7 especially were pure agony.

Man, I am as far from being a Leaf fan as you can get (Habs, Jets fan here) but I woulda done ANYTHING to see a Habs/Leafs Cup Final !!!!! Can you imagine the pure madness that would have brought???? BRILLIANT!

I laugh when I hear about the conspiracy theory to fuck the Leafs to have Gretzkys Kings make the finals. If the refs were biased, why did they make the McSorly call in Game 2 of the finals.The refs coulda mismeasured the stick, throw a Hab in the box, to ensure the 2 game advantage for the homeward bound Kings. Or the missed penalty shot caused by Carboneau hand on the puck in the dying seconds of a tie game. Doesnt look to me like they wanted Wayne to win, so fuck off Leaf whiners. Give it up
