A mid-range curl based off the hair I sported in my Dita Von Teese tutorial. Remember to keep the rows as uniform as possible and utilize thicker strands for a looser curl. Take into consideration how your hair curls and experiment with different products to see what creates the best outcome for you. This is a healthy way to curl your hair without the aid of a curling iron and helps to to grow out your hair without added damage. Make sure to dampen the ends so that they are easily molded into the loop. Stray pieces will only create a curl with a kink in it. Use gator clips or bobby pins in an x shape to guarantee a more polished and shapely curl. Always sleep with your hair wrapped in a scarf to prevent frizz and to keep the curls in place. When you want to take then out, make sure to feel if there is any dampness and if so, blow dry it before removing the bobby pins. Happy pin curling!

  • You should try to be a little more enthusiastic

  • If you don't like it, don't watch.

  • Hey there! Can I ask what lip color you're wearing in this vid? Its gorgeous, and I think it might actually work with my hair color...Nothing ever does lol. Thanks!!!!

  • Thank you! I'm pretty sure it's a lipglass by MAC called Prrr. It's a really nice pearly, soft pink.

  • "Dont get discouraged if it doesn't work the first time" how about the first 100 times? :P I have straight fine hair that you would get SO MAD trying to curl. :-) Im going to try using some of the Redken Hot sets on my hair prior to putting them in. wish me luckkkk!!!!!

  • what so she can be like most other twangy overly upbeat girls on you tube? bleugh! I think this is great!

  • you have nice eyebrows lolll

  • @HollywoodNoirMakeup do you think this would work if I rag-rolled it? Or does that toally defeat the pin-curl effect?

I'm asking, cause my bobby pins are gone, and this girl's broke.

  • the vid is awesome, but a little smile on your face is really missed!!!!

  • you do it entirely different than what i was taught, but your way looks sooo much easier. I'm going to have to try that :)

  • Hi!

Really pretty video. I did kind of the same thing for a party. I notice you didn't put anything in your hair. When you took all the pins out, did your hair come out in curls? I'm wondering because I'm trying to find a better way to curl my hair than using a damaging curling iron.

    Thanks for the video!

  • YOU ROCK :*
