Meet one of the few lizards in the world that own a poisonous bite - the Mexican Beaded Lizard. Fascinating video showing the elaborate fighting rituals employed by males as they jostle for territory. Brilliant wildlife short from Sir David Attenborough's natural history masterpiece, Life in Cold Blood.

  • @mbm0285 The weapon of the mind is the most dangerous in all of nature.

  • @EMMJF everything is built to fight, we just happen to be smarter

  • They're just hugging

  • @Arach84 It's actually very common. Few animals will ever risk getting hurt, even in a fight for reproduction. It's not worth winning a battle if you end up lethally hurt afterwards, so it's as you say; natural selection.

  • i imagine for their species to survive it had to develop a way for their males to compete safely so the loser could still be part of their society. Or something. >_>

  • That is Lucha Libre!!

  • i hate mirror match ups

  • if you squint it kinds of looks like Wayne Rooney and Colleen having sex.

  • my money is on that one

  • somehow looks like lizard gay porn;-).

    great movie, though!
