Most species at Longwood Gardens have roots, but some actually do not. In this clip one such rootless specimen, a playful brown squirrel, at first seems to want to avoid human discovery. But when the fuzzy-faced four-pawed critter realizes his cover is blown, he leaps several feet up the rooted specimen of his choice, an oak as immense as it must be ancient. Plopping comfortably atop a big old bough he resigns himself to posing like a ham for the human's Handycam. (Look for additional footage of this unlikely party animal in the next segment of this silly tour entitled, "Longwood Gardens - Squirrels Gone Mild!")
