Dom was married to Maria and had two kids. On eday, when the locust attacked, his two kids were killed. and Maria was taken from him. he spent 14 years trying to find her. she was the only thing in his life that kept him going. the only thing that kept him fighting. in gears of war 2, he finds her. she had been tortured to the point of almost death. and she did die. how would you feel to have everything you worked for taken from you? i dont think i would go on. for people who dont know the story

Dom didn't die in GOW3 he died when he found maria.

im sorry but i really really hated dom after gears 2, he was funny and cool upto when he started to be a douche to an 18 year old kid about his brother " I can't see snipers as well" that clicked the spark in me that made the fire that hates dom, i know im gonna get a thousand hates for this but i really really dont like him.

Despite Gears only being a video game, it is such an emotional experience to play ( and especially if you read the books too ) The characters in this game are inspirations.

Man do i feel bad for every single gear, Marcus-lost his mom, dad,his brother Dom and many soldiers under his command. Dom-lost his wife, and two kids. Clayton Carmine-lost his two bros Anthony and Benjamin. Anya-lost her mom. Sam-lost dom, i guess she liked him. Baird- his parents never gave him what he really wanted when he was younger. Cole-sure he was famous but he lost his Mom which i assume he really loved. Kim-he got impaled badly. Benjamin- i felt sad when he died.theres many more.......
