  • Just stopping in to say hi and let you know once again how beautifully done this piece is. Suze

  • @suuzzee5 Thanks again Suze. I just bought an electric guitar and I think I might be recording another Kottke piece on it soon. You know "The Fisherman?" I think it's one of his best.

  • @JosiahAltschuler I do know that piece and I'd love to hear you do it! Electric guitar = sounds like some fun is coming. Always so glad to hear from you.

  • I'd have to say "My Father's Face" for me is my favourite album, but if you're looking for pure guitar monster tunes, you can't go far wrong with 6 & 12-string guitar. The production on MF'sF is incredible though

  • great playing i tried also this tune perhaps you like it best regards friedel

  • you play this kottke tune perfect, one question, is the high e side always played open ?

  • Beautifully done!! I love this piece so much. That's a great sounding 12 string you got there.

  • Absolutely gorgeous. I don't have a 12 string, so my personal rendition doesn't sound anywhere as good.

Kottke's never made an album as good as the original 6 & 12 string guitar album...
