In season 3, the office of Alexis looks gorgeous and tasty. By season 9, it looks incredibly old-fashioned. I don't understand why another set wasn't built in season 6 or 7.

I guess for the same reason Spelling nixed the idea of doing a grand post-Moldavia season 6 opener with helicopters, etc. Being complacent about the show's #1 ranking in season 5 and being stingy when the ratings went down.

And all that money and creative energy going to The Colbys. The series definitely jumped the shark after Moldavia. They should've axed Jeff, Claudia, and Prince Michael in the massacre, too. And The Colbys never should've happened, but I would've greatly missed Sable in the Dynasty universe.

They could have always had her simply join the show as Alexis' cousin. Say at some point in season 7. Alexis lost much of her motivation after Singapore. They didn't really know what to do with her (and the suddenly saccharine-sweet Ben) in the second half of that season (as I read, that was yet another attempt to "fix" the sinking ratings by making it "more about the family" and "less about larger than life plots" ).

Re-watching the show now, I must say, I'm liking Blake as a character less and less. I so keep rooting for Alexis to whup his ass.

I wished they made Sable and Alexis teamed up instead of tearing down each other. With them two, they'll runover The Rocky Mountain Family! (quoted from Sable Colby in The Colby's)

Its funny that Adam always mocked Steven for his homosexual preference... Steven always seemed like a normal dude to me, where as Adam has the mannerisms and voice of a Las Vegas transvestite!

Alexis had no reason going after McVane when her initial intention was to use him for her own devious purpose.

I can't stand when someone makes a bad decision and then blames others when they don't get their way.

It would have been great if Alexis had some sort of a Tony Soprano relationship with a shrink.

Someone should do a spoof.

And then, speaking about her beloved homosexual son and her son Adam's brother, Alexis said of the wispy blond-haired Steven:

"His...lifestyle is his own affair...were talking about his sensitivity, his decency, and his capacity for love for other people."

Indeed: Steven was all heart and a paragon for all gay male TV archetypes across the multiverse!

I root for Alexis all the time.

I hope she makes her bowels move on Blake Carrington's grave!
