Depends. Polycarb is more flexible than glass so it depends if it's ground-bearing or suspended when used as a floor. It's also very smooth so it'll be quite slippery and the stuff scratches quite easily. you probably could use it as a dance floor BUT bear in mind it's a rather expensive plasic... Price compared to glass? No idea, you'd have to find out. Any more questions, reply.

No. This material is only high impact resistance up to 1/2" thickness. Bullet proof since from 3/4" level 1, it resist at super 38 caliber. 1" level 2, it resist at 357 magnum.
1 1/4 level 3, it resist at 44 magnum.
