considering its Zubin Mehta, I'm astonished from the crappiness of this conduction , or maybe its the wiener philarmoniker that cant interpretate in the best way Opera music .....
Sorry tp sau this, but I see such a masterpiecing and sublime music totally misinterpreate, not to say ruined in the worst way in here !!
Probably the crappiest execution of one of most beautiful musics ever composed, poor Verdi ....!

i saw this play in Wien in 2008 and it was one of the best played opera i've ever seen . All my respect to the Wienna Ochestra!!

Didn't mean to offend you. And it's perfect --i wholly agree that you may don't like it. it's absolutely legitimate. But the way you expressed your thought in the previous entry makes it sound "objective", and one is left with the impression of "who is this guy to say what is slow or rapid?". Only Verdi could tell, I guess...

when you go to see a movie to the cinema and you don't like it can you say it even if you are not a film director?
ps: i was a pianist (diploma in conservatorio donizetti of bergamo) even if now i am a lawyer but this doesn't matter cause if this version make me boring tha's my opinion... (and also the one of riccardo chailly, do you know who is him? ... if no listen to his version with a cronograpgh)... and if you don't like it it's your opinion... that's all
