I disagree, but only because anime has ALWAYS been really cliche; it's just that we don't remember the vast majority of old anime because it's not worth remembering. A few decades from now the awesome anime being made today (Redline, Hosoda's movies, some of Kamiyama's stuff for examples) will stand out more because we'll have forgotten the crap.

I can understand that. It's mainly because the market has increased and now pretty much every manga in existence has a chance at being an anime now so a lot of the crappy ones are being made.

Hate to Agree, but yeah, so long as Disney doesn't break away from the usual same Plot an implanting corny Jokes, Animation in America would still be viewed as a kid's thing...the only animation to what I want is Anime and pretty much anything that DC does with their Characters (Batman under the Red Hood is an example of something close to actually good Animation)
