I think this would constitute a pretty serious threat to any air assault on Iran. It might seem a retrograde weapon, considering the likes of similar previous-century systems such as the US Skysweeper, but if you integrate something like this with missiles and more powerful radar, then even a jet would have a hard time escaping unscathed, let alone a helicopter. Would make a far better weapon if they turned it into a SPAAG though.
