I saw an interesting report this weekend on how truly predatory some of our bank's overdraft fee policies are. Of course no one likes them, but one (slightly strange-looking) guy decided to fight back. He asked none other than perennial Green Party presidential candidate and consumer advocate Ralph Nader what he should do.

um actually thats not true, the banks are all failing because they operate on a flawed fractal system, what they do is for every 10 dollars you deposit the banks can and will loan out up 100. they do this based on the theory that not every depositer will withdraw their money at once. it is for all intensive purposes a ponzi scheme where the banks make 80% profit off of your money. except they like to spend your money more then you do, and have to resort to shady business practice's to cover

What happens if you don't pay overdraft fees... I have been getting overdraft charges because stupid fucking microsoft automatically puts your accounts on AUTO RENEWAL! FUCK YOU MICROSOFT! anyway now I have gotten all these fucking fees and being the kind folks they are they decided to fucking send me a letter instead of calling me and informing me immediately, so they could continue to charge my ass! What do I do, I don't have much money to pay it but if i dont im fucked right? help

Nice!! I am going to the bank today to contest a lie a bank teller told me (that caused an overdraft). If they do not fix this today, I will file in small claims court. And this is not just a temporary emotion, my friends. With a part-time job, I need the money and have plenty of time to file for a case. :-)
