@TheGTube1111 I wasn't aware the news had reported damage at Royal Kona, at it's highest point the tsunami was still about 3 feet below the edge of Royal Kona's sea wall. Made for a great place to watch to bay drain out but I wouldn't of been very comfortable had it been a slightly larger event. Also as you know Royal Kona is on the point, if it was located in the bay by Alii Drive, there probably would of been damage.

Really fascinating! When the water really pulled out of there and you could see all of the rocks, I though "Oh man, here comes the surge!" and then it was huge! Your equipment wasn't damaged, was it?

@dombadil Really!! tell me more. I guess since your so smart you already know that in Hawaii the largest tide exchange we get is about 2 1/2 feet. You probably also know that the tide doesn't exchange several times in a 45 minute period. LOL!!
