Millennium Force roller coaster yellow train was actually stopped on purpose by the operations crew. Not "stuck" due to mechanical reasons. A rider un-buckled their seatbelt to "get a better ride" as they were leaving the station. I'm told it happens about once every 3 days or so on the lift hill. Thanks to a Cedar Point maintenance tech I know for the info.
That's why it's not too far up the 310 ft hill. But the lift hill angle is 45 degrees. So it's not the most comfortable position regardless of the height. I know people who have been stuck on this thing for 45 minutes. Still a great roller coaster.
The video shows a ride supervisor and maintenance employee ride up in the funicular maintenance cart to tell riders whats going on and that theyll eventually be going forward.
