  • Actually, passani, if you did your homework, you would know that in fact both the maillard and caramelisation reactions, amoung others, occur during roasting...

  • Funny to hear a 'roaster manufacturer' use the term ' caramelization ' when they should well know the reaction is the Maillard reaction (more like browning toast than turning sugar into caramel!).. ah, the uneducated marketing voice overs.. love them!

  • what about cooling the beans? Does the machine handle that too?

  • is that really advanced? I mean it looks cool... but it also looks like you're just using hot air blown in from the side of a cylinder
