I make fun of the news, too. My favorite was in print where someone was scheduled to die by 'lethal ejection'. Not the worst mistake, but it led to a long discussion on the concept.
I'm slightly surprised Dr. Shaprio [sic] didn't recommend the BRAT diet for after the patient decides to move beyond "clear fluids" (water, Gatorade). It would have been so easy to incorporate appropriate video footage: Bananas! Rice! Applesauce! Toast!
