aww he's such a dear!!! why did peter have to kill him in the movie!?!?!?!?!?!? he was just "well, we need a heart-wrenching dramatic death....hey, you guys! draw straws!!!" and of course craig pulls his and goes "crap."

@HaldirLivesLuvIris well the problem I have with this is Haldir was very hot throughout the entire movie, but his death was not only the most dramatic, but also the hottest death ever! No one can top Haldir! Little part in the movie, but a part that marks in the heart of every woman with a minimal sense of good taste!

This was 2005 at the fellowship festival which has now gone bankrupt or has closed. And if you live in the UK ur closest LOTR con is in err germany until the Hobbit comes out lol
