I don't think this aria is sad, but the part of it at 2:06 always makes me kind of sad when I hear it. Kind of the same way a lot of Mozart's music makes me feel (though not sad-sounding, something is kind of bittersweet in listening).

I find it impossible to watch this treasure of an upload without bursting out laughing at Beverly antics at the end! What an incredibly special and talented woman she was. "America's queen of opera?"No, I think that should have read "The world's queen of opera" Brava incomparable Diva.
