Afghan army not ready for an exit strategy?

Barack Obama is ready to reveal his plans for Afghanistan, including plans for an exit strategy, but has he taken all the aspects of the situation into account? The Afghan National Army has a high desertion rate and additionally is split along ethnic lines. Once the Americans pull out, who will take responsibility for the country's security?

The US should have never gone into that country in the first place...Multiple aerial attacks on the "taliban" subsequently exiting would have been more economically strategic....It is not the job of the US to bring peace and structure to another country.

An easy mistake to make. There is a natural "law of the jungle" - survival of the fittest at work. Dominance is required. If you can't force pursuasion you pursuade with force as I've recently heard. How do you argue with the most modern military on the planet? Hit them where it hurts - in the pocketbook, and destroy their morale by exposing the US population to our own evil. Sad but true. your there cause your goverment (starting from Bush now Obama) wants to take as much resoruces and money and oil as they canb before 'leaving' plus to set up a nice pupet goverment that America will kick around when it sees fit.
