The uke case is completed and currently contains my tenor uke. A second case made almost entirely of papier mache followed for my soprano. Decorated with newsprint clippings and pictures from the day that I finished it, it is my favourite. A third case is currently under construction for my daughter's uke which will be decorated with butterflies. ( It would, as Ralph states, be far cheaper to buy a case, but where's the fun in that?)
Guess what? I am making my very own Ukulele Case following these instructions. It's not easy but so far so good. I love hot glue. How I'm going to fit the lid is causing me some grief but I'll figure it out.
I would have finished sooner but, being English, I just can't stop taking those all important tea breaks that Ralph sings about. And yes, tea is better from a brown china pot.
Ralph, you are amazing! Take note all teachers... Instructions should be sung!

P.S. I now use a stainless steel teapot.
