Thanks so much for sharing this fantastic song. This was the track that really got me into the "2nd stage" Isleys [ although i loved their Tamla stuff too ]. Is it soul ? Is it rock ? Is it pop ? is that Jimi H on guitar (: ? reckon it's the lot !! . Shamefully not a hit here in the UK . Cheers

The Isleys are very underrated. they bought crossover to another level as they bought the songs of white musicians into black households in the 60's and 70's.

I know that they picked up Jimi Hendrix hitchhiking and he played with them for a minute and that's where Ernie came into his style which I think resonates Jimi more than anyone else .
